As some other reviewers have said, this place is awful. Here's the situation: Lost the only set of car keys we have so we called and asked if this is something they can help with. The receptionist was pleasant and verified that is something they are equipped to handle. She quoted me $184 to which I said I would talk with my husband and then call her back. She promptly said she could offer me a $20 coupon which would bring the price down to $164. I said okay. She said he will be there in 2 hours. She called me back to say he can’t do it that day (Sunday) because Mazda vehicle keys require a code from the manufacturer that you can only get during business hours. So, we made an appointment for Monday. She called back to say he CAN come and is able to do it that day and doesn’t need a code. Called back again that he CAN'T. This went back and forth for 5 calls finally ending with he CAN and he'll be there between 5-6pm. He arrives and says it'll be $195, which is neither the first nor second price I was told – arbitrary pricing seems standard here. Spends 15 minutes on the phone confirming the price I was quoted originally. Then proceeds to spend 75 minutes in the garage working on the car. A portion of that time he's on the phone with someone but because of the language difference, I can't tell if they are talking about the car or something else. It sounds heated. He asks to use the restroom. Works for a few more minutes then says he’s not able to do it that day and leaves (Time Commitment – Day 1: 2.5hrs). We call again to tell them what happened and that we still need someone else to come out since he couldn't do it. She says someone will be out tomorrow (Monday) between 6 and 7pm. No one shows up. (Time Commitment – Day 2: 1.5hrs). We call again. She says someone can be here the next day (Tuesday) between 11-12p. At 12pm she calls and says he'll be late. At 12:30, on the third day, he arrives. Same guy who couldn't do it before. He puts a key he brought with him in the door lock and when he takes it out we notice that now the automatic door locks will only lock when you push the button but will do nothing when you press the unlock button. Now the locks will only unlock manually. He says he can make a key but it won't start the car. We say no. The car has been unlocked from the start so this doesn't solve anything. He says again that he’s unable to do it and has to leave. He doesn't schedule another appointment and doesn't explain why he can't do it so we don't have any additional information to provide to a different locksmith. Nothing. (Time Commitment – Day 3: 2.0hrs). In summary, 6.5 hours, over 3 days, and all that’s been accomplished is he used the restroom, broke the locks on the car and tried to sell us a key that wouldn't work. I've never experienced something like this with any other company. After he left, we called to ask to speak with a manager to which the reply was, and I quote, "uh, he might be able to call you tomorrow". Am I on a prank TV show right now? Because this can't be real life.
