This kiosk is a really good idea. Not only did it make a key fast that worked the first time, but they can save the key info so if you lose your key you can have another made. I might get other keys made just to keep the key info on file!

Hiding in the back of Menards it's a little machine to copy keys. This was very helpful. I just needed a spare key to give my roommate. I picked the basic option and it was $2 per key! They were cut while I stood there

When I received the copies in the mail, I compared them to the original. The various teeth in the key seemed to be sharper, more distinct, and when I tested them in the lock, they worked BETTER than my original! They worked smooth in the lock, no binding, no problems.

We locked ourselves out of our new home and were unable to find someone to assist us. After multiple phone calls to others, we called Lock and Key Specialty and received a quick response and ETA. He was able to fix the problem in a very short amount of time! We highly recommend for the McHenry County area!

Great service! Helped me out when I locked myself out of my house. Emergency call at 5pm and he was there in 15/20 minutes to save the day. Worth every penny....! This happened back in April - sorry for not posting until now! Highly recommend!

Second night in my new home and we had locked ourselves out while shifting boxes around. I called and A1 immediately picked up. Service rep was here in about 10 minutes and had me back into my home in less time. Could not have asked for easier, quicker, and better service on a late Sunday night.

Awesome experience with A1! First call was to a different place that CLAIM they are local, but are not. They forward your call to someone on their list of local people. I got lucky and found A1. Love the local, personal service of this professional who has been doing this for 30+ years. On time, went over all options, explained everything, and was a REALLY nice guy! Would recommend to anyone, and would ABSOLUTELY use again.
