They are not located in Delaware and over charged for “mileage”. Umm if your located in Delaware how are you gonna charge me for mileage when I LIVE in Delaware and that’s where you met me? Also took way longer than expected.

The kids and I were at Gallant Woods Park in Delaware and I locked my keys in the car. We live in Delaware and it made sense to use some one local, so I called Sandusky Locksmith. He said he could be there in about 30 minutes and his technician would call. The technician called and is located in downtown Columbus and is going to charge me mileage to get to Delaware and it will be minimum of an hour and it is gonna cost $200 plus tax!?!? What!!! That is not even reasonable. I have been an insurance agent for over 10 years and that is ridiculous. I asked the tech if he could do it for less and he said no it was not worth his time. So I called another local towing company, Joe’s Towing, referred by a friend, and they did it for $62, and it literally took him less than 10 minutes. I don’t care if the insurance company is paying or I am paying that $200 is unreasonable.

I called this locksmith as they were listed as local and needed someone to unlock our car asap. Just an FYI, they are NOT in Delaware! And they charge you for the mileage! So don't use them unless you want to pay $200 for a 2 min job to unlock your car. They were on time (quoted at 40 min wait time), which was nice, but overpriced. It is also very difficult to understand them. I won't be using again just due to pricing and was disappointed in the fact that they have themselves listed as local when they are not.
