Kokomo Lock and Key LLCCarrie Adams
I called on a Saturday and I'm new in town. I needed to change the locks on the house I just bought. The front storm door had a busted lock and I wanted all the locks to be on one key. Locksmith came, told me what I needed and sent me to Lowes on my own. Gave me the part from the front storm door. I went to Lowes, had locksmith speak to guy at Lowes. Lowes didn't have the part apparently. They only had two kinds. I was trying to find the other knobs and locks to the best of ability with what he wanted. He was "giving me 5 minutes" to get back. AGAIN! I'm in new town and still have trouble trying to find my new house and Lowes. I brought the stuff that I could get. I wanted stuff to match but I felt rushed and of course he got mad at me for taking too long. Stuff didn't match either. But the keys were made. He said I would hear back from him. Nope! I texted and he didn't get back. Had my realtor call, well he got back with her. I texted again. Thursday. Nope. Not done. Given Friday. Nope. Not done. 3 weeks! and Storm door has not been touched. $254 I was charged! Service fee I get. How many locks did you do? You should have went to Lowes YOURSELF to get the right parts. I shouldn't have had to do that. This is my first and last time. I have a different locksmith taking care of it now.

Had copies of 2 keys for garage doors taken at a kiosk and the 3 keys mailed to me. 2 didn't work at all, 1 worked but not smoothly. I called Keyme and was given a refund.

The kiosk was really easy to use and navigate! The voice directions weren't over bearing or anything, just overall helpful and pleasant. Plus the kiosk was fun to use. :-) I made multiple copies from seven different original keys, and almost all the copies made from these original seven turned out great, excluding the copies from one original... So in the end, out of the 16 copies I ended up with, 13 were perfect; the other 3 didn't end up working correctly. I am thinking that something went wrong with the scan of that one original key. This problem-key that was scanned was a sub-master key for a building, and all three copies from it are only opening two doors in the building instead of all the doors. It may not mean that the machine is faulty, maybe I didn't hold this key completely straight or something, but I did press it in firmly as the machine told me to. When visually comparing the copies with the original, they looked slightly different than the original (i.e. a tiny spike was mistakenly on one of the "teeth" and on another "tooth" the copy's was sharp while the original was dull"). So, as feedback, that particular machine may have scanned incorrectly, or maybe I held it in wrongly. I'm not completely sure.
