This was a waste of my time. I needed a second set of keys for a vehicle, but when I went through the on the KeyMe terminal, it said I needed an attendant to help me complete the process. No explanation was given why. It was 1am at a Walmart, and I did not want to try and find someone to help for a self-service machine. I'm now going to find a brick and mortar key duplication facility to take the guesswork out of the process.

The guy was really grumpy and angry that I was quoted a key price of $175. He said he was loosing money. The key blank is under $50 retail on line so Mr Angry still made $125 for 25 minutes.

Got a phone call after I paid for service that I would have to travel to a car dealership that was two cities from my location anyway. I had to work around their schedule and the rep did not show for service. After a week, I continue to wait for my refund.

Easy, fast and all 4 keys worked! 😊

The key quality good, but making the 2 keys get one free for a total of 3 keys took 10 minutes. It’s not any faster than having the key cutter do it (this was in a Lowe’s) and a bit more expensive. It wouldn’t copy my mail key so I ended up having to go to key cutter anyhow. This is great in areas with no other key cutting service, but those tend to be in areas where people have less money, so might consider making it $2+tax, instead of the almost $9 I paid for 3 keys. Engineer production of key cutting machines to cost less so can pass savings along. The key cutter human at lowes charged $2.
