I recently used the Minute Key free standing key cutting system at my local Lowe’s store. I was actually very impressive with the key collection that was available. I had a good time looking at all the key patterns and picking not 1, not 2, but 3 key designs for copying. The actual copying was very quick and was fun to watch the keys being made right in front of me. The key cut was great and all 3 keys work great in my locks! The price was actually right on trend for other copying fees. All in all I give this 5 stars for being AWESOME!

We had three problem doors ranging from loose knob to misaligned dead bolt. Only took a few minutes an if you upgrade to brass keys you get an extra key so 3 in all ,for about $7 (wish they did car keys) , as you are leaving walmart grocery checkout by the door ,been needing a *key pasted by a few times then finally had some (house* keys) made worth the time to stop an have them made tested all three *keys an work perfect ! I went to a minute key kiosk because ace hardware was closed for the day. The kiosk had an ok selection of keys, however, generally, as a rule, the machine doesn't de-burr or clean up the finished keys enough there's usually brass slivers and burrs still on them, causing function problems in locks. Go to a person to have your keys made or invest in a wire toothbrush to do the cleanup yourself if using minute key, you'll need it.
