Very nice lady. Judging by the shop, I'd say they know a lot about mechanical locks and keys. A lot of displays and visuals of different lock types and keys. It's a cool shop. They dont cut outside sourced key blanks so hopefully I can save someone a trip.

I had a different locksmith change my locks a few years ago and he sold me substandard locks and HACKED up my door (see the picture - beautifully countersunk lock on top by Chet. Literal hack job on the bottom by someone else.). Chet has restored my faith in locksmiths. He was on time, knowledgeable, and installed some really beautiful heavy-duty deadbolts. Highly recommend.

I always come here to get new keys cut. They guarantee their work and are very knowledgeable about keys and locks. The staff have always been friendly. I'm not sure they can manage the advanced car keys with the chip inside them (you usually have to go to the dealership for that anyways).

I am working on what was a rental house to prepare it for sale. I had a garage door lock that had a broken off key in it. We had other issues with the door that needed to be resolved, but having a working lock was going to make that a while bunch easier. There were no equivalent lock sets to be had at any of the hardware stores nearby. Chet's Lock Shop was the next town over, which would save the fee for the locksmith coming to my location. I called and was told that thought the locksmith was out on calls, to come on down and they would try to help. They did, quickly and inexpensively. They have gained a fan and I will have no problem recommending them to anyone I know who needs the service they provide.
