Called to check to see if they had an item on hand according to website they had in stock. Said they had three in stock over the phone. Great how can you go wrong with three at store. Drive 30min to pick this item up. Get there only to confirm that they have none in stock, but only put the inventory in the system to expecting to shipment so people could order online. What if the shipment doesn't come in?I think they need to change their Policies/Rules. Didn't apologize and did offer anything further. Just the look of Oh well.

Excellent local hardware store. Wide range of products that are well organized. We just moved to Oakland with a ton of projects to complete. The staff has been both friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to return for all of my hardware needs.

Great place. They can give you an advise on almost anything. I love the fact that I can buy individual screws instead of getting a pack of 100 in a larger stores, like Home Depot. Jessica is one of the most knowledgeable staff.

I was trying to find a particular product in store. Two very helpful employees tried to find it as well, but to no avail. I left the store thinking I had to go someplace else. Within minutes, my wife calls me and tells me that the store called my home to tell me that they found it. I turned around and went back and purchased the item on the spot! You don’t see customer service like that anymore!

I am consistently happy with my experiences at Ace Hardware. They have a great selection of good quality items, fast and easy online order pickup, a very attentive and helpful staff, and the store is well organized and clean. I will definitely frequent them more often than other big box stores.
