Called him one afternoon looking to get a lock replaced. He answered the phone in a peculiar manner which made me ask if he had a minute to talk to me. "No, not really." was his response. My response....a dial tone.

I asked this company to come to a remote location out in the country, accessed by gravel and dirt roads. The owner called me to ask if his tech would be able to get to the lock with a wheelchair. The building is in a fenced, heavily graveled compound, and there was 2 or 3 inches of snow on the ground. I said, "I don't think so." Two techs came, one was the one in the wheelchair, yes, he forced his way to the site door, and completed the work. This was NOT a routine locksmith task, either. This was a high security lock set that posed a number of problems. I was very impressed.

So we talked for a long time about the need to get a second key fob to my Mazda 6. I finally ended the discussion by putting it on top of my truck and driving to work. No more key fob. Now what. Called A-1 Locksmith, since they were coming to my town anyway, they offered to bring their computer and program the key fob, make duplicates and all at my house. Towing the car 40 miles to a dealership or to them would have cost more than I paid in total to have them come to me including the keys. I did have to get the code to the car which I did from the dealership in St Louis easily. They quickly programmed new key fobs, and gave us 2 blanks without the chip to open the door. Total cost was about $165. We routinely go there to have keys made, even commercial keys we have as they can 'stamp' cut a key verses having it made on a cutting wheel if needed. They have been doing this for a very long time, they reprogrammed the safe at the Army Reserve center for me as well as that code has to be changed periodically. If you want any locksmith things done right the first time, just go to them and don't worry.
