We found them very helpful. We own a house in the Pines and if you know the island it can be very difficult to get things here when you’re doing a job and you runout of something, I needed four more gallons of deck stain and they actually delivered it to the ferry ⛴ this was a huge help to us otherwise we would have waisted a whole day to go and get it.

Just left the Sayville store with my daughter and experienced a very condescending service moment with the young lady at the cashier. While attempting to pay, arguing with me that I 'should only remove my card when the green light shows', never looked me in the eye, continued to take my card from my hand and then point out the green light...because maybe, she knows green better than I do. Thankfully, there are many places where I can find hardware items. Orange and red places ;)

Just moved to town, seems like a place to get everything. Super nice employees. Definitely more expensive than Home Depot/Lowes...but I'll pay a few extra bucks to support the local business! Look forward to using them frequently in the future.

best hardware store around! everybody is super friendly and helpful. they have pretty much any product you’re looking for, including awesome toys for kids! i recommend going here for your hardware supplies. i always enjoy channa and julia’s presence while there. they’re so professional and kind all around. i’m always smiling when i leave sayville brinkmanns and i, especially, have the young women to thank for that!
