I have been going to Socastee Hardware for over 5yr just loved the place. I needed a storm window repair. It was the worst experience I have ever had . They had installed the top rail on backwards . The person that did the job was Rude . He called me a liar and he stated he had put it together right and his coworker told me and agreed with me that it was put together wrong . I had to go back and forth seven times before I was able to get the window right . A simple pop to clips and spin the top rail around . To make it right .Turned into over an hour and a half on the last day . I had to wait. Was obnoxious it’s is Sad but I Will never recommend Socastee Hardware to anyone again !

owner is cool and a genuine guy had to wait for my key to be programed by the computer and walked around the place, staff is very nice and they have just about everything you could need. great price for my set of key fobs 2018 ram. Dave

I was just in Socastee Ace Hardware the other day. Had a couple of screen doors that needed to be repaired. The new owner waited on me and explained what they could and said it would be two days. Sure enough two days later I was contacted and told my doors were done. The workmanship was spot on and the price right. The new owner is really fixing the store up nice and updating alot of stock. It's nice to be able to support the small business owner in today's world of mega stores. They stock a lot of hard to find item's. Who wants to walk around a 300'000 sq foot store to buy a nut or box of nails. If you haven't been there stop by and check it out. Takes you back to a time when life was a little less complicated. Good job folks... keep it up.
