They have done great work over the years for me. More recently I had my custom cowgirl boots resoled. There were specks of gold paint on my bourbon-colored boots. Not many, bit I think they could have been more careful to protect them from other projects. I'll return, but will I spect more closely before I leave the store.

I've been coming here for years to take advantage of the unreal pricing they offer. They polish shoes for $2.00 and boots for only $4.00. Excellent customer service as well.

I asked the to do a very difficult modification to a loafer (I’m clueless about the physics of shoes- it was like saying ‘turn my Chevette into a tow truck) for an orthopedic issue and they did a very fine job given what you can do with a loafer with excellent customer service. I highly recommend!

Today is my second visit to Stern's Shoe Repair. Services to be rated for are incomplete as vendor will return my service item in a week. The shoes repaired on my first visit were professionally and skillfully repaired. The staff is customer friendly, fast and courteous. I highly recommend Stern's Shoe Repair.

Would not recommend. Brought a pair of leather work boots here to be resoled. One hundred dollars later the soles are falling off my boots. Stitching around the sole was replaced for show, but didn't actually tie the sole to the upper. Sole is coming completely detached from the upper at the heel, nails are popping out of the insole inside the boot as well. Hopefully a different cobbler will be able to repair what these folks did.
