****BUYERS BEWARE....AVOID ACE HARDWARE AND ESPECIALLY THE COVINGTON, GA LOCATION****ACE HARDWARE has a 30 day return policy with the exception of Gift Cards or Gas-Powered Outdoor Equipment. Despite the corporate policy this store refuse my return of flowers purchased 2 days before. At the time of purchase this store didn’t have any signage near the plants to indicate all flowers were final sale. Additionally, the sales person/cashier never mentioned returns wouldn’t be honored. I contacted the ACE HARDWARE customer service number and they weren’t helpful with ensuring this location honored the 30 Day Return policy. I was told each store has the option to make up flawed policies whenever they feel like it and they don’t have to communicate them openly to their customers until it’s convenient for the company. I guess this explains why they don’t print their return policy on the receipt because it doesn’t exist. At this point I’m stuck with flowers that I don’t need because of shady unprofessional tactics by the Covington, Ga “Management” team. After this experience I would advise everyone to patronize a different hardware store chain that operates with integrity, trustworthy, and values their customer experience.
