Estou comprando nesta loja há quase 36 anos. A equipe é sempre prestativa e conhecedora. No entanto, a experiência de checkout tem piorado há bastante tempo e ontem à noite realmente me fez questionar por que continuo a gastar meu dinheiro suado lá. Nenhuma saudação pelo caixa, após anunciar o valor (que foi o único som que ela fez durante a transação) meu recibo foi empurrado silenciosamente pelo balcão. Nenhum obrigado, nenhuma boa noite, nada. E sim, eu disse olá quando me aproximei. Não recebo isso na Stewart's em Clinton, que, a propósito, é muito perto da minha casa. Práticas comerciais inteligentes ditam saudar um cliente e, mais importante, dizer OBRIGADO. Vocês precisam trabalhar na Saybrook Hardware!!!

It is always a pleasure to shop at the Saybrook Hardware on Main Street - it's the Ace Experience, without a doubt. Family owned with many familiar faces, the associates go far above and beyond the call of duty. The staff is friendly, well versed with the products AND location of everything in the store. Not in stock? Saybrook Hardware is more than happy to special order for you. So incredibly focused on the customer experience. This is the # 1 difference and the reason why I shop local and avoids the Big Box Stores...
