I've used KeyMe machines a number of times. The machines are convenient and efficient. The only issue that I ever have is for keys that are smaller than a typical house or garage lock. KeyMe is great for standard sized keys, but if you need something a bit out of the ordinary, you'll be out of luck.

Gonzalo and his family rescued me when my alternator gave out just outside Rock Falls. Dakota, their seven month old Australian Shepard, also joined us for the ride. He may growl at you at first, but he is just protecting his mom and is a very good dog. Gonzalo and his team had my 2007 Toyota Camry SE's alternator replaced in under an hour, just as he said he would, allowing me to get back on the road. I'm not from the area, but I will be stopping back to get my oil changed the next time I am coming through the area.
