The people working in this store are stunningly rude and unhelpful. It’s a wonder they are still in business. I understand supporting local business but if you go out of your way to be brusque and unwelcoming it’s not a wonder people prefer to go to big box stores.

Customer service is non-existent in this store. Employees could care less, bad attitudes. A very long time ago this was a great hardware store, but not anymore.

As I'm driving up King Street and slow between lights I have a YES moment. I need a drain screen & a Christmas present security box and I am right next to Foster Farrar. I park near the entrance, enter & staff show me various First Alert products. I found the one I had in mind. That was easy. Next drain screen. That was harder as there were at least 7 options. Which one? At the register I paid same price as big box, did not have to traipse a big box, parked close & back in my vehicle within 15 minutes. Foster Farrar is packed with hundred of items that you've been looking for. Easy park, helpful staff, incredible inventory, key shop, local, yeah... 5 stars
