Elgabry was very knowledgeable and professional while also personable. In such short notice he came to my home to re-key the locks on Christmas eve and he did it in what it felt like was a matter of seconds and he had to re-key nine locks in different areas of the home. My family and I highly recommend. In fact, it was my mother who recommended him to me.

The only reason I gave one star because zero is not available. I called this guy and ask if he can make a true duplicate key for my motorcycle. He answered yes so i stopped by his kiosk. He wasn't there, had to call him and wait 15 minutes until he arrived. When he arrived he was on his cell phone talking Arabic. I showed him the key I wanted to make copies of and he said, it's OK he can make them. i wanted to advise him of the shape of the blank key that had extra length of ridge that had to be cut. He didn't listen and proceeded to make the cut. He was fiddling with it and asked me to try it. I looked at the key and it didn't look right and it didn't work. He said it's OK, it takes several passes on his machine to make it perfect. I had doubts already because I could tell the the key didn't resemble the original. He worked on the key some more and of course it didn't work. I complained that he ruined my blank key and he started yelling that it wasn't the right blank key and I didn't let him do his job. I told him what my name was and asked what was his. He was reluctant and mumbled something unintelligible. I repeatedly told him that he ruined my blank key and at one point he accused me of not giving him the right original and kept saying that the blank was not the right one and asked how much I paid for it but did not offer to compensate me for the loss. I asked him what kind of business man he was and told him he didn't belong in that neighborhood. He got more aggressive and belligerent, started cussing and swearing at me telling me to get out of there because he would call the police and do something to me. Then he took off. I haven't had such a bad experience with business or service people ever. He was disrespectful to an old man customer, foul mouthed and even threatening. He should not be allowed to service that community. Take your business elsewhere if you want to be treated well and want knowledgeable service. This guy is incompetent.

1 hour late. $902.00 to recode 2 door locks with 2 codes each. When getting a hold of the company to fill out a W9 form for tax purposes, I got the run around after numerous calls, still no reply with the W-9, I get the feeling they’re hiding something. Will never use this company ever again, nor well I recommend their service.

Today the lock at my work wasn't cooperating when I was trying to unlock it so I decided to crank the key which led to me breaking the key off in the lock itself. I called this place and they answered after two rings. I told the gentlemen what happened, he got some of my information, and he was on his way. He got to the store in 10-15 minutes and started working right away. He worked some magic and was able to get the lock to unlock while it was still inside letting me roll the gate. He was able to replace the lock and key without any real issue and without going back to his store. Price was reasonable and everything was done all within an hour. TL;DR Excellent service, nice guy, would recommend to a friend. Give them a call.

I called 4 companies trying to find a someone that was close to my home, but when I actually researched where they were, they were nowhere near my area! I found a local company by the name of Value Lock & Key in Santa Clarita. The owner Jeff was very helpful over the initial phone call. He explained what he thought was the problem with the lock mechanism. He came out to my house to assess what was actually wrong with the lock, and it turned out that he needed to do research, due to the kind of lock we had installed from a different locksmith a few years ago. He came back to my home a second time to make sure that before he placed the order for the new lock, that it would fit based on the specs. The new lock was installed, and we are very happy!! We highly recommend Value Lock & Key as they are very honest and take their time to explain what is involved with the service. They also are very honest with pricing, as other companies quoted am much higher price for the same service. We will definitely be using Value Lock & Key again in the future.

Really great service! The locksmith came within 20 minutes of my calling and was extremely helpful. We have a really old style, complicated lock, that was jammed and noisy, and wouldn't lock anymore. The locksmith spent a decent amount of time fixing it until it was perfect, and fixed a second door as well. I was worried that the price was going to be far about the original quote given that the problem ended up being more complex, but we paid a predictable price. He was also very professional and polite. Highly recommended!
