I found Elgin Key & Lock to be incredibly professional and friendly. They programmed and cut a duplicate key I brought for me within 30 minutes. The only knock to give them was the quoted price on the phone vs the final bill was nearly close to triple the amount. I understood on getting an unlock code carried an extra charge which I was fine with but the programming/cut was a bit surprised vs the original quote. At the end of the day, we came to a reasonable agreed amount. Completely satisfied with the service.

2 out of 3 keys worked...1 did not work. The guy warned me the key might not work due to not having an exact blank to cut. I have not gone back yet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I recommend this buisness.

Went in for a car key, Talked to Matt he was very honest about the situation and what the outcome might be. He successfully did what was needed to be done . He's very knowledgeable in what he does. I definitely recommend giving him a shot before going to a dealership. Saved me hundreds of dollars and was super fast too
