Shawn (the owner) was right on time & very friendly. He did a very thorough job & explained what he was doing all along the way. I had many questions about new types of locks that we may eventually get (keypads, etc.) & he was very knowledgeable. He recommended the Schlage brand so it was helpful to be pointed in the right direction to make any future lock decisions. It's great to know that our home security is now upgraded. It's worth the $ to let a professional do the job quickly & well! I will use this business again when needed.

I was doing house projects over the holiday season. I had to replace locks on three exterior doors…new knobs and dead bolts, all on the same key. I called two places in the B/N area to see if they did work in Lexington. Both responded quickly, but when I had follow-up questions, only A-1 responded back. He was able to do the work quickly and in my time frame, plus, the price was right. We did all the planning over the phone and set up a date. He called before hand to make sure I was there and showed up on time. The work was quick, friendly and professional. He had to re-drill one of door locks because the original work was not correct, no problem. He noticed two of my doors were not flush with the frame, but he fixed that by tightening the hinges and even adding some missing screws, no extra charge. He worked hard for customer approval and got it. Highly recommend.

Shawn was very friendly and the keys work great. I have went to Walmart and other places for door keys made and then they do not work. Shawn changed our back door key because it was lost $3 a piece for new keys..wow.
