Another review said the grumpy guy had retired. He was back today, grumpy as usual. He re-keyed my lock to work with my new key. No problem even though I hadn't brought the original key. He grumbled about it so I said "Don't you like a challenge?" His reply was "No, I don't like stupid". Technically competent, socially inept.

Although I can’t comment on an actual 'on location’ service experience, this business took the time on the phone to get me out of a sticky situation with a lock. They were polite, efficient and accurate and I will be contacting B & D Lock & Key the next time I need any services for my home.

We traveled from out of state to enjoy a family condo. However I left the keys back home. Since our arrival was Sunday everything was closed. Chad from B&D arrived quickly and had us in within minutes. Service was great, price was very reasonable for off-hours response. We recommend them and will call them first if locksmith services are needed again.

Not a good experience. We called to have locks changed on our new home in Venice, scheduled B&D for 9/11 between 11am and Noon. We arranged with our gate to allow access and planned the service call. B&D never showed up and never called - my wife called and they said they were running behind 1/2 hour - we understood. Then 12:30pm came and went - called them again - at 1:30pm we called and cancelled!! What kind of place does business like this? Find a better rated locksmith as these guys suck! 👎 we have been waiting hours for B&D ...
