It was super easy to get three new keys made at the Safeway KeyMe kiosk in my neighborhood. I even got a 3rd one free. Pretty great deal in my mind.

I like the fact that KeyMe analyzes the shape of the existing key and uses that analysis to cut the new keys to factory specs. That's a much better process than traditional key copying techniques. Needless to say, all of my new keys work _perfectly_. I'm very pleased.

Called them to open a car door with the keys locked inside. When I called, they said the service fee would be $29 and that the technician would tell me about additional fees. When the technician came, he said the standard fee for opening the door was $150 plus the service fee. I received much lower quotes from one other locksmith ($135)service but went with these guys because of the implied lower cost. Technician was very competent and polite. Good guy. I thought whoever set the rules for discussing fees with clients is misleading and sleazy. Would not recommend. Please don't reward this type of behavior with your business.
