A big box store referred me to True Value since they didn't have what I was looking for. A gentleman asked me if I needed help within a few steps of entering which I appreciated as I had never been in the store before. He helped me look for a bit and we decided what I was looking for was not to be found. When I was leaving a sign said to exit through the checkout. I was having a little trouble finding it when he said, "Are you following the arrows?" I replied I thought I was, but as I was correcting myself I overheard him and the customer he was working with make fun of me for not knowing where to go. It's a shame that I will not step foot back in this store as I genuinely try to shop small businesses.

They have a surprising variety of goods for a non-big box hardware store. The name has changed to Nuts and Bolts Hardware. Still associated with True Value Hardware chain. Recently completed a rearrangement of store, moving service desk to front of store and updating nut and bolt display. As a downtown resident I appreciate not having to travel west to the big box stores to get what I need.
