Fast and efficient!

On December 15, 2019, I made 3 keys for the same lock which is new. They worked flawlessly. The experience was, in all, faster than going to a locksmith. I made them as I left the register in a supermarket. It took about 5 min to get the first key in my hand, but I can't be more accurate because the operation, although easy, was new to me. Touch screen worked fine with basic options that I was satisfied with. I dislike the option for further grinding on the key for 35% more cost. I skipped it, but it was annoying and didn't make sense. It cost me time as I stood there thinking on how the option could possibly benefit me. I really wanted regular color options like royal blue, average green, and medium gray. There are too many designs, in my experience, that will not appeal to a majority of customers. This is a great product service in a great location. Time is money, and this has saved me both of those. However, in future machine designs, please add a wire brush function internally to the machine as part of the service without charge. I spent time looking around for something to knock down the sharp brass flakes taking my attention away from a multitude of other tasks I needed to get done.

I made two copies of my key. The instructions were clear and concise. The job was completed on the spot, and I was given a third key for free. All the new keys worked perfect! In coming days, I may go for other services offered by this outfit.

It was very convenient to have the KeyMe kiosk at our local Safeway. I think if you said "push the key straight in. like when you use your key" that would have helped a little bit. It also took us a minute to swipe our credit card, but all in all I am very happy with my key. I feel safer having an extra key with me, and it's less bulky than having to carry all my keys at one time.
