I have no idea how this store has so many good reviews. Maybe the staff is giving some of them. The absolute worst hardware store I have ever been in in my life. It wasn't one or two or was ALL the staff that was rude. Rude to me, rude to the little old lady in line, rude to a guy asking about screws. To say they were condescending is a compliment. Had about 6 of the bolts I needed. What a joke. I will never set foot in that ratty store again. Oh, they also had about 4 or 5 dogs in the store GROWLING at people and other dogs. I mean really? Really? Some people are terrified of dogs. And allergic. So having one growling right next to you is not cool. I went in for bolts and left in a panic attack. I don't know why they just couldn't be professional and not so rude to their customers. I wasn't rude to them. Terrible place. Just like, really bad.

It is awesome. The way a hardware store should be. Reasonable pricing, great selection of what you need and definitely bigger than it looks from the street.

Bad customer service - went to get paint and they gave us the wrong gloss. When we were leaving to go exchange for the correct paint, one of the quarts fell and exploded open, causing damage to our clothing, interior wood floors, and exterior. They called us “hysterical” “liars” and threatened to have the police come for “trespassing” before they decided to call the manager for approval to exchange the paint. Wil never come here for household improvements again. Do not recommend if you enjoy being treated like a person.

I have lived in this area for over 40 years. Some businesses give A+ attention to customers. True Value on Willamette gives A++. No matter what time of day, what month - I get the best, professional attention, and the finest products. And, I know how they do i! Excellent management, and excellent staff!! Thanks for guiding me in every project I've ever done for the last 40 years. :-)
