He comes out and quotes me $19 for showing up, $75 to pick the deadbolt, and $40 to re-key a deadbolt, for a total of $134. I say ok and he proceeds to do the job. He comes back and says he needs to remove four security bolts and replace. Nothing is said about an up charge. I say, OK, you’re the locksmith. I thought he was worried about chipping some paint or something. He asks if I want the lock keyed alike with my other deadbolt? Again, no mention of extra money. I said sure, whatever. He comes to me with a $254 charge. I called the company, and they said immediately, without any pause, sorry nothing we can do about it. Do yourselves a big favor, have a reputable company come out for your locksmith needs, not this fly by night hack.
