Thief. I asked this hack shyster to cut a key that I was intending to program myself. He said it would be $110 just to cut the key. I then asked how much the blank keys usually go for.. he said he didn’t know.. That he doesn’t give his prices to no one.. I laughed in his face and walked away. You wanna know a secret this ineffectual exploiter doesn’t want you to know? The machine to program this machine is about $200 on Amazon, 175 is about the price for just one key programming. The majority of the transponder keys are under $12 and the gas they use to get to your location is about $3.25 a gallon This dude wishes his time was that valuable, if he wanted to make good money he should have went to school and learned how to make an honest living instead of taking advantage of people.

I've done business with this hut for many years.. the value for cheap house keys is on par with other locksmiths. But you can see in the past reviews how unprofessional this place is. I wouldn't really trust this guy with much else than a simple key copy. I had several friends and family members get ripped off by this little hole in the wall. He's short with you if you ask too many questions. Clearly the silent, dumb customers are much easier to take advantage of.

He comes out and quotes me $19 for showing up, $75 to pick the deadbolt, and $40 to re-key a deadbolt, for a total of $134. I say ok and he proceeds to do the job. He comes back and says he needs to remove four security bolts and replace. Nothing is said about an up charge. I say, OK, you’re the locksmith. I thought he was worried about chipping some paint or something. He asks if I want the lock keyed alike with my other deadbolt? Again, no mention of extra money. I said sure, whatever. He comes to me with a $254 charge. I called the company, and they said immediately, without any pause, sorry nothing we can do about it. Do yourselves a big favor, have a reputable company come out for your locksmith needs, not this fly by night hack.
