Very disappointed !!!!!! Call this company to re key or unlock the main door key pad, the guy suggested he have to make whole to the patio handle to get access in the house and open the main door. He totally disassembled the patio door handle left the patio door not any way to be locked I found the drill pieces on the ground..I could have done what he did to break the patio door break and get in to open the front door from inside. Now I have to buy the door handle and get it installed !Shame on you what a rip-off !!!!’

Strongly recommended!!! After calling several other companies for an after hours emergency, Zip Locksmith was the only one willing to help out. Exceptionally professional service and this will be the only call I make next time.

Showed up, on time. Job was done in a timely manner. Price was reasonable. I just called to have some more work done by them.

WARNING WARNING WARNING Shady business practices. Dude tried to scam me. Fails. Then tries to give me the offer that we already agreed on. I called Zip-Locksmith, and originally they quoted me $275... for ONE DUPLICATE key. This was way too high, because my Toyota Dealer told me it would cost me about $100 to program the key + $60 for the first duplicate + $40 for an additional duplicate. So, about $160 + tax for one duplicate. $200 + tax for two duplicates. So, I told them no thanks. They called me later that day, asking if I still needed duplicates. I told yes, but that the technician was charging too much, because my dealer was giving me a better price. They asked me how much. So, I told them what the dealer told me. They told me, they'll see if they can talk to the technician and see if they can do something better. They call me back and offer to do the first duplicate for a flat fee of $150. I told them no thanks. I'm going to go to my dealer because they are giving me $200 to make two duplicates. So... they tell me. Let me call my technician to see if they can do something better. I'm like sure, go ahead. They call me back and offer to do TWO DUPLICATES for a flat fee of $179 tax included! I was like... wow! So... I had to double-check that they heard me right. I reiterated to them. I want TWO DUPLICATES, and I want both of them to be able to turn on the ignition of the car and not just open the car-doors. They said yes. TWO DUPLICATES for a flat fee of $179 and both will be able to open the car doors AND start the car. Wow alright! So they tell me the technician would call me back. They call me back. I told them my brother is at work. I'll just call them back later. They call me again. I tell them I am still interested. I wanted to make sure they understood... TWO DUPLICATES for a flat fee of $179. They confirmed again with me. Yes. That is what we agreed. They arrive at my home. Technician takes my key. Tells me we gotta fill out some paper work. I said, sure. Then he starts telling me some story about the manager told him the price was going to be $275 for one key and that it would cost more for a second duplicate. I was livid! Something was off. I was like... wait up... Are you sure? He said yes. I am sure. It didn't feel right. You know that feeling when you can tell someone is trying to pull a fast one on you. That's the feeling I got. He goes to his car, spends some time in the back digging and then tells me, he only has keys to make one duplicate. I'm like nope. Give me my key back. We'll just go to the dealer. About 15 minutes goes by. He calls me back... and tells me. Hey I just picked up blanks. I can still make it for you do you still want it. At this point... I was just perplexed?! I said, how much? How much are you charging me? He tells me we can do it for $179, for TWO DUPLICATES. Dude tried to scam me. Fails. Then tries to offer me what should have been set already. Nope. Nope. Nope. I'd rather pay the $200 to my dealer than give my business to a company that tries to scam their customers!
