I thought the product was fine, but they seem to have raised the prices. I would have walked away, but I really needed the keys. With the corona virous I was not going to go somewhere else. I also had a code for a free key and it did not work

They kiosk was easy enough to use and seemed like it was going to be an awesome service. I love the concept of having my key scanned and stored online for easy duplication. If only it worked. My first key, a simple one-sided mail box key, the kind of lock you can easily pick with a paper clip, was scanned and identified as "unusual". They kiosk charged my credit card and said they key would be sent via snail mail rather than being made on the spot as I had expected the machine to do. The second key, also a fairly small and simple motorcycle key, was also identified as "unusual" and was not made by the machine. This was surprising considering this motorcycle is over 10 years old, is a basic key without any FOB or RFID. However, the kiosk said it would store the data, have the key made elsewhere and snail mail it along to me. At least there was hope I wasn't wasting my time. I was a 15 minute drive to the kiosk, plus 10 minutes of poking at the kiosk to setup an account online via a touch screen, so I let it ride and finished the process. I now expected that since it would take several days, KeyMe would at least get the job done and some keys would be delivered in the mail. Something I wasn't delighted with since mail theft is so high in Seattle and the advertising of KeyMe is to make a key immediately like a locksmith would. As you may have guessed, neither key ever arrived. A day later I got an email from KeyMe indicating they can't make the keys at all and my credit card charge would be refunded. I checked my card and the charge has not yet been refunded so I guess I will keep checking and hope this doesn't now become a customer service call nightmare. Maybe your luck with KeyMe will be better but the point of reviews is to share our experiences and this is what happened to me. 2 keys, 2 fails.

It was quick and easy. Easy step-by-step instructions. Copy of key worked just as well as original.

I got three keys made, the third one being free. I was skeptical at first, the keys didn't seem to be exactly identical to the original in some small ways. I was sure that I was going to go home and they would not work. To my surprise they worked perfectly, I am very happy with my purchase and will use again in the future.
