A relative of mine purchased a house built in 1909 with the original front door and lock set, which used "skeleton keys". They lubed up the mechanism and created a perfect skeleton key for it. It works great, allowing us to retain this piece of old American workmanship. American Lock & Key is the real deal. In our experience, they know what they're doing, and do it right.

This place is about a mile from my work. If it was the third smith down the road I'd still go here. I had them cut a fairly unusual 1996 Range Rover key and it fought him (the owner?) tooth and nail. He still managed to get it cut and it worked perfectly. Also had him cut a newer Rover key and a couple Mazda keys. All no issues, very reasonable price and it seems like everyone in the building genuinely enjoys going to work every day, something I almost never see anymore. Top notch. I'm a mechanic down the road and will be sending all of the referrals I can here. Top notch!

Took in so keys that the big box stores don't stock blanks for. They had them and made 6 of them very quickly. Great place to take keys

I own a Ford Fiesta that requires replacement keys to be made at the Ford dealership. Both of my keys were broken and to have them replaced at the Ford dealership would cost $250 each and require a service appointment, which was not available until April 29. I called ALS LOCKSMITH and spoke with Ben.Ben explained how I could still use the broken key to drive to the shop. At the shop, Ben was able to replace both broken keys for only $25 for each key. He was able to do that in less then 30 minutes. Ben was very aware of my need to replace my keys, but not for $250 per key. He was able to make me replacement keys that didn't completely bust my monthly budget. I am very grateful.

Great customer service. I was in-and-out and more than pleased with the prices. The dealership wanted twice in fact a little bit over twice as much as these guys charged with no hassle. I will be back and will bring everyone I know. Today is April 28th They just made my day

I just brought my 1993 Miata in, and it had a unique challenge because it has a rebuilt title and therefore the ignition didn't match the doors. They were able to make me new keys for the doors and a couple of new ones for the ignition in only about a half hour, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I am extremely grateful to be able to lock my car that I've spent a lot of time working on. I will be coming to Al's on Boone for all my locksmith needs from now on!

Ben was awesome. Came out to our shop and even waited for me to get there because I was late. He programmed a new key for our Jeep and he even went the extra mile and helped lubricate the key terminal so that it turns properly on start up. Our dealership will be using Al's as often as possible.

Absolutely amazing service! Ben and the crew were very helpful from the start with changing the locks and keys for my car. Very glad I reached out to them for help, they went far beyond my expectations for service!
