Locksmiths in general are a little unnerving as they can always have access to your house once you let them in. Therefore it's critical to do your homework before settling on one. Apex Lock and key locksmith has a location that made me look into them far before I needed them. My first dealing with then was to get a copy of a key and fob for a Buick Enclave. At that time they gave me a free education on fobs and certain GM fob issues and differences. The next time I wanted some estimates and options for getting smart locks for my mom's house as she was ill and needed caregivers. She lives in Sanford and thus out of their service area. Never the less they provided me with guidance and recommendations based on my goals which was greatly appreciated. All this made it that much easier to request their service when I bought my new house. I don't know what the market is for their services, but for what I asked them to do I thought it was more than fair. They were quick, on time and easy to work with. I hope to never need them again, but if I do I have no problem using their services again.

Apex lock and key smith got to our home extremely fast after we had locked ourselves out of the home with our baby inside. While we were terrified they were so fast and helpful, we are so thankful for getting to us quickly. They got inside very fast and everything worked out. Juan Rubiano is a professional and proficient locksmith. When my key cracked off in the lock (leaving my toddler and I out in the cold), he got to our home really quickly. He couldn’t immediately get the broken key out of the lock, so he got us in the house via a different door. He prioritized my kid getting back into the warm house. After that, he did everything to ensure it was my house, eventually got the broken key out of the door, made me a new key, and re-keyed the lock to the garage door he got me into that we never had a key to since owning the house. I was so grateful for his expertise and kindness that I kept his card. Years later, just recently, I called and he came out to rekey our new home in Raleigh.
