Almost $8 for a brass house key? There's a locksmith who cuts keys for $3 less than two blocks away. Absolutely not. Take a 2 minute walk and hand your money to a person.

It all started very sketchy. The locksmith that went to our house said that to install our new lock that we purchased previously was going to be $500. He said the reason for the price was that it was a combination lock, we told him that we didn’t need assistance with the combination or walkthrough of the lock, just for him to put the lock in with the screws, not even to drill. We thought it was outrageously high since we had already taken the old lock off the door. We ended up negotiating down to $250 cash which was still a robbery, very sketchy, very unprofessional no clear line of what is the cost of the job more how much can I rip off the client. Two thumbs down.
