Called Maclock because I wanted to use someone local to replace a broken and jammed deadbolt that kept a door from opening. He not only removed the jammed deadbolt and installed the new one, but also did some tweaking to the door and door jamb that made the door close and lock better. He keyed the new lock to my existing key which now opens all doors at my house. Pricing was fair, service was amazing. Highly recommend!!

If I could give this company and experience a 0 I would. When I called I was told the service call would be $29.00. When I asked what the labor would cost I was told the technician would let me know on-site. The individual who came out was extremely rude and put out that my small safe was in my garage because it’s cold out and my garage is not heated. It took him less than 1 min to open my safe and he tells me $160 for the labor. I said for what, you have been here less than 5 mins? He replied, and I quote “I had to drive 40 mins from Denver and I have another 40 min drive back so $160.00”. When I received a call back from the company to verify the technician arrived I let them know of his attitude and that $160 in labor for a 1 min job at max is absurd. Why bother charging a $29 service fee if it does not cover the drivers time? I was told they would note my concerns and have a nice day. This is not the first time I have needed this dinky safe opened but by far this is the first time I have ever spent more that $50 for the service.
