TLDR: bait and switch with dishonest workmen. I was quoted a $15 service call fee and $19 per lock to rekey the locks in my new home. The technician took over an hour and a half to call me, despite assurances that he would call right away. When the technician arrived, he told me that the $19 was only if I had smart locks. He charged me $49 per lock for a rekey. Once he was done, I started checking the locks and found a problem with one of the locks. He accused me of trying to cheat him and steal from him. I told him I was upset, and he said "if you want to get physical, I'm ready to get physical." I called the company to complain, and I never heard back. Save yourself time, money and threats of violence - just go buy new locks from your favorite or local hardware store.
