Cody was great and able to unlock my door fine. But extremely expensive!!!!! $40 to travel 5 mins and then $130 to hit a bump key 3 times?!!! Really.

Our key was locked in our car and I called Kettering Lock and Safe and they quoted me $50 on the phone. When the technician came out he said it would cost $119, not $50, due to it being a Toyota. I complained a bit, but I was in a bind. To his credit, he opened the car in about 30 seconds. When he went to charge my credit card, he said there would be an additional $15 service fee and tax making the total bill $145. Afterwards, I called the receptionist and confronted her that she was dishonest about her initial price, and she explained the $50 was the opening price. I said I thought it would have been more honest to prepare the customer that the actual price would likely be much higher. I don't know if low balling is a typical practice in the locksmith business, since I have never used a locksmith, but it strikes me as taking advantage of customers who are in state of desperation. Shame on them.
