The man showed up under the influence, ripping his dab pen right in front of us. He then proceeded to take over 4 hours to make a key for a Chevy Tahoe. At the end of his service, the keys he made did not work in the slightest bit. The ECU sent a code to the dash that put the car in security lock. At this point, the man tried encouraging us to let him keep working on it but it was also revealed that the interior door panel and the door lock were severely damaged; literally the door is missing parts now. We told the man no, and when he tried charging us $850 for service we refused: he did not complete the service as promised in any way. Ended up calling another locksmith who came and did the job in a half hour and he even gave us a free spare key because of the trouble we had with this company. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE!

Locked out of my Chevy Express van. He showed up 15 minutes after I called him and took less than 10 minutes to unlock the van. I would recommend using this company if you are in the Rutland area for quick service.

The guy was there with in 15 minutes after I called and got me back in my vehicle in 5 minutes. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it cost me $210 which I thought was way expensive, at 10pm on a cold night when I just got out of work was worth it for me as I had no other options.

Was in "Gatekeeper" Lock and Key on Monday, June 21st, 2020. I had purchased a pair of motorcycle hard saddlebags online, which did not come with a key and I could not open. I called in advance, and Cassandra said "bring them right over." Mark, the tech. who was there, had the saddlebags open in two shakes. He also supplied me with two replacement locks and carefully explained how to put them in (I had to make a minor modification first to both saddlebags, which didn't take five minutes; Mark also walked me though that.) The entire cost was very reasonable; I would highly recommend this business. Overall; a very pleasant experience, and I have two awesome, "functioning" motorcycle saddlebags!

Fantastic experience. Needed 13 doors re-keyed at new home and could not provide Gatekeeper with any keys to old locks. They had a tech (Gabe) to me within 24 hours and he was able to re-key all locks, install keypads and cut new keys on site very quickly and was very pleasant and informative as well. 5 star ⭐️ service.

The place is hard to find with few signs telling you where to go and parking isn't great either. Their website isn't very user friendly, as it doesn't list all of the services they provide or at what charge. However quick and easy service once they got started. They also have a shop pet rabbit which is cute.

We had a lock break on our back door over the weekend. I called on Monday morning, they had me send a photo of the lock, and a tech arrived around noon. She was professional and courteous and made quick work of the repair. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful service and the employee we dealt with was super sweet and kind. He had a mini etch a sketch that he let me fool around with while making spare keys. Wonderful customer service. Highly recommend
