Worst experience! I had ordered a specific lock for my company's door that needed a specific strike which I emailed to them. I went with Thompson since they provided the lowest price. They provided me with a quote which took them two and a half weeks to do. I had to constantly call them to remind them of the quote that I was waiting for. I finally received a verbal quote and I approved. I was told it would take a week to order everything. We scheduled an electrician, phone company and Thompson to be at our office at the same time for the installation and Thompson was completely unprepared. They ordered the wrong lock and the technician was rude and seemed like he didn't want to even be there. The owner was aware of the situation and said he would order the correct parts. I rescheduled with Tara from their office and the day comes and they didn't show or even call to let me know they weren't going. When I called Tarah she had the nastiest attitude with me for no reason and said that they didn't want to do the work anymore. When I asked her why she said that I hadn't responded to an email (which was not true). She checked her emails and was like "oh, well we're just not going to do the work and I don't want to be involved anymore". I asked to speak to the owner and he was "away". This was such a horrible experience. Just goes to show that the cheapest isn't always the best.

Greg came over and took care of all of my problems. He was on time, courteous, and took care of all of my issues. Anybody looking for reliable and friendly service should use Thompson Locks!

Whoa. The woman who works here is level 10 on the rude and aggressiveness scales. I needed a key made for the front door of our condo - so was given the master key card by our building’s management company to make a copy. When I tried to make a copy with she got SUPER aggressive saying I wasn’t authorized to make a copy (despite getting the okay from both condo board and management co). When I told her she was being a bit aggressive she turned it up from 7+ to 10 telling me that I had accused her of poor service (I simply suggested we contact the management company) and that there was a video tape she could play back to show my accusation of her not doing her job. Huh?? STAY AWAY.

The women Tara who answered the phone was so rude and unhelpful but I was in a bind so I ended up going in for a rekey for my new home. Wow she’s even worse in person. She has ZERO customer service skills and then began to speak in Spanish with a coworker while I was trying to speak to her, completely ignoring me. When I asked if there was anyone else willing to help me I got the death stare and she said I could leave if I didn’t like it. Who does that?!?! When I asked for a manager she said he was gone for the day. How do they maintain a business with this women “working“ there running the show? She is a complete deterrent. I will never use them because of her. I hope the owners read this review.

This place has to be the worst I’ve ever been to. Nasty and in competent. Do not patronize this company. The little man at the counter was horrible. Buyer beware.
