I needed a lock replaced; they were prompt and the young man that came to perform the repair was very pleasant and professional. When I was presented with the bill it was $630! Excessive. I admit that I should have asked for an estimate. The part they replaced was itemized on my bill at $340 and when I Googled the cost, it could be purchased online for just over $6. I was charged $340 for a $6 lock. This is an exorbitant markup. I am a business man and understand how business works; I have no objection to marking up products but I feel that I was price gouged. I cannot recommend such a business.

They quoted me 20 dollars to rekey a lock over the phone. Wanted 55 a lock to get it rekeyed when they showed up. Insane expensive. I will just buy new locks. Guy would not leave unless I paid the 30 bucks "service" fee. This is a scam of a company. All these 5 star reviews are bought and paid for.

Do not use. Bait and switch, 2 different techs. Ruined $1500 door. Started yelling at me in my own home. Called me a liar, when I questioned the inflated price. Not American born citizens. The phone number is a call center, and techs are independent workers. Told me $160 was a great price just for the deadbolt not including $300 labor to install. Deadbolt is under $20 at Home Depot. Ck on all reviews not just their own people leaving 5* reviews.

DO NOT CALL YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. Waited 40 minutes when they said 20 for someone to arrive. He then told us he can not make us a key for our car and only get us into our car (which I explained clearly on the phone we had already gotten into the car) So after another 30 minutes of waiting another employee shows up and quotes 250$ +$30 He asked me if i knew if it was a transponder key to which i told him I was certain but he insisted on trying a non-transponder first “to save me money” aka scam me. He then made a non-transponder (20 minutes of waiting ) for him to say it does need a transponder. He then took another 20 to cut a transponder key and said it would be more money for a transponder. This makes sense right it’s a more complicated key. He finished and asked for 370$$$$$$ What??? what happened to 280? He charged another 90$ for the transponder on top of his quote when i told him to the transponder from the beginning. DO NOT CALL. THEIR ARE MUCH CHEAPER PLACES WITH BETTER SERVICE. not to mention the key sucks and doesn’t even work in the car half the time:(((

When Ben arrived he looked young. I asked how much lock Smith experience he had. He said,one year. I needed my classic motorhome schlage dead bolt drilled and new one replaced. Not with schlage but with Bolt Brand, looked cheaper than kwikset After enlarging hole,he decides lock won't fit,and offers to drive 10, miles to Tooele home Depot to purchase lock and install for another $500!!. They don't take credit,venmo or cash. So we head to Maverick ATM for $279 cash. 189 service call,and $80 mileage. Now I hire a Professional Lock Smith like glens who doesn't arrive with Husky Brand tools. Thanks for nothing,my road service company will hear from me. Idk how to post pics of my butchered door. These guys are lone wolf independents, no itemized bill,no start,end mileage.No licensed/insured proof.
