Westport Hardware has become my new go to since the pandemic. I wanted to support local businesses so I reached out to them to purchase a grill for my mother who is quarantining at home. They provided a fair price. They delivered and installed the grill in a safe way the very next day. Since then I have called them for several other curbside pick-up items. They have continued to be fast, knowledgeable and friendly. They even advised me to call the manufacturer for a part covered under warranty when they could have just sold me the part. I will continue to shop at Westport Hardware.

What a lovely hardware store! I love stopping in to grab little things here and there as I help my local family with home projects when I visit. So glad I grabbed some of those unique shaped terracotta yesterday! Bonus: the "booooiinnngggg" sound effect as they scan in your items. Go support local and buy from this business

I want to say thank you to the only local hardware store our beloved town has left. Their customer service has always been on of a kind. Not only did they manage to find a safe way to stay open with curb side assistance during the uncertainty of things, but still were able to provide us with the best quality customer service. When facing challenges of low stock or shipment delays, they still found the time to reach out to us when those items came back in stock. It disappoints me to see negative reviews from those who are simply upset and freely throwing around a word that they have no right using when it comes down to the simplicity of their store policies. To know the every day challenges a local business already faces, now through a pandemic when they have the stresses of opening their door and being attacked for simply looking out for not just their loved ones but us, their customers, is very disturbing to me. Any store requesting for me to wear a mask while in their fucility only shows to me once again the respect and dedication they have for my family and their employees. Let's be real people, none of us finds these new challenging days to be ideal. You should be more concern about the places not requesting and implementing certain policies before attacking sales associates for doing their jobs. I can complain about my mask all day, but you'll still find me wearing it if I choose to enter a store for service of any kind. Please remember, your local businesses, the people working behind the counters, they are simply not the enemy here.
