As the owner of a business in direct competion to John I feel the need to write this reveiw as other less credible locksmiths have taken it apon themselves to write bad reveiws about others. I can say of John in the dealings I have had with him that he is an excellent locksmith and always does his best for his customers.

I just phoned Sonoma Security Lock and told them about my situation. It would be a mobile call. I was told that because the key was a tube type key, they didn't have too much experience in picking this type of lock. They referred me to Wilson's Lock and told me that they had more experience in those types of locks. They also told me another option would be to drill it out and purchase a new lock but that would cost more than the mobile call. Thank you for being up front and not charging me for something you might not be able to fix. If needed again, I will contact you in the future.

My daughter bought a new house and we needed all door locks re-keyed. Called for a phone estimate. The response was fast, pricing on-mark, no surprises, no hidden costs. Job well done. Will repeat if I ever need locks rekeyed.

They never showed up! My front door swung shut just after I arrived home from a fire evacuation. They said they would be over to my house by 9:10 pm. They did not show up. After walking a mile to town twice, borrowing businesses phones (mine was locked in my house) they told me they would now show up the next morning at 8am. They did not show. I slept in my car in my ice cold garage and the next morning called Bills Lock, who promptly came over. I would give a negative rating, if possible. I have reported them to the BBB.
