Service was quick. Was treated well by sales personnel. Had two watch batteries replaced. Took no more than 5 minutes to complete the entire transaction. Will find out in a year or so if the lifetime battery replacement works as expected.

Edit: After completing their survey and posting this review, I was contacted by the store. They were very polite and were able to process the refund over the phone. I would say they did everything possible to remedy the error, so I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Original review: I purchased a car battery online and was also charged $18 for the core. The store was supposed to refund the core charge when I dropped off the core and picked up the battery. I asked the cashier to verify I would be receiving the credit. As his answer that I would be receiving credit was not very convincing, I waited 12 days and checked my credit card history. I was not ever issued the credit. I called the store and they said I would have to go to the store to get the core charge refunded. I then called the online number and was told they could not help me and I would have to drive back to the store to get my credit. It is wrong to not refund the core fee, and wrong to make it difficult to correct when I identify your error. Based on this experience I am not at all likely to recommend Batteries Plus.

Wow. The service was incredible. The prices were way below the nearest competitor and the quality is amazing. The representative that helped me was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt very safe with him helping me with the install on my car. I've already recommended Batteries Plus to friends and colleagues and it's only been a couple of hours!
