My rating is actually a 4.5. I love going to this location. I generally like the staff. Usually helpful and knowledgeable and reminds me of going to our hardware store in my hometown when I was a kid/teenager. Some things are sl pricey but customer service is def worth it. They will keep getting my business as it is local and would strongly recommend to any citizen of Ankeny.

I love going here. They've usually got what I need and the staff is helpful. I've rented equipment and bought lawncare products. I'll only travel to the box stores if I need a specialty item.

If you want a small home feel, give this place a try. It’s family owned and operated and the staff is very friendly. Randy is always there and willing to help you find anything. Their small engine department is top notch also, however you need to plan ahead because they are very popular. Supper the local businessman and shop here.
