If you want to be overcharged, asked to pay upfront and have to have them come right back out because the deadbolt is not aligned and rubbing...then this is the spot for you! I understand businesses need to make money but was charged $600 (not including labor) for the exact same part I could have bought on Amazon for $340. Again, they should def make money, I could see a $50-$75 mark up but c’mon, charging $240 for pushing a button to order a part...not a good look and definitely feel ripped off. Unfortunately I was super busy with work and had a broken front door handle/lock we couldn’t use so I accepted the offer not knowing I was getting way over charged on this and had the work competed. Btw...when things were arranged all of the sudden I got a commutation asking me to pay upfront...not sure what that was about but I refused and said I would find another vendor as that doesn’t feel right, and they agreed to not take payment upfront.....by the way, as of writing this, they were paid in full....as promised!!!! Finally, one day after the installation the one lock which I feel I was grossly overcharged for does not line up right and the bolt is rubbing and they have to come back out again. The other locks we had replaced seemed to work well. So between getting overcharged, asked to pay upfront, and then not being done right, I would not recommend this service. The only positives were Art who was super helpful throughout the entire process, clearly the poor business decisions to ask for payment upfront and overcharge customers is driven by the owner who I called to speak with but was not available. Also, the tech who came out to install was very polite but I did share my concern about the deadbolt starting to rub in the future, next day it started rubbing. We did have every lock replaced, the others seem to work well. Art did get a tech out the same day I called with the rubbing issue. DJ who came out to fix diagnosed quickly and seemed to resolve the issue. Thanks Art! No thanks Kleppers.
